Dirk Verly is a member of the Executive Committee, leading the HR function and Continuous Improvement across the BekaertDeslee group.

Dirk started his career in Executive Search consulting and has since held diverse HR roles with regional and global responsibilities in various sectors. He has worked at GE, Becton Dickinson, Picanol Group, and Ghent University before joining Bekaert Textiles in 2011, that later merged with DesleeClama to form BekaertDeslee. Dirk brings an extensive experience in people, change and organizational transformations to BekaertDeslee.

Dirk holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Educational Sciences from Ghent University and has certifications in coaching and lean management.

Dirk is committed to social responsibility, serving on the board of socio-cultural organizations and a nonprofit elderly care network.
