Rafael Rodriguez leads BekaertDeslee’s business in The Americas, overseeing commercial activities, manufacturing and distribution operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina as a member of the Group’s Executive Committee.

Rafael started his career as a Plant Industrial Engineer at Sara Lee Corporation, steadily advancing to the role of Operations Vice President. He then served as a VP of Global Supply Chain Management Strategy for Sara Lee’s spinoff, Hanesbrands. Following this, he became EVP of Global Operations at WestPoint Home and later, COO at Hollander Sleep Products before joining BekaertDeslee as President of North America.

Rafael holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and an MBA from Duke University.

Rafael has extensive experience leading business transformations and growth initiatives, and he derives great satisfaction from developing people.
