Susanne joined the Executive Committee of BekaertDeslee as Chief Operations Officer in January 2024.

Susanne began her career in Marketing and Product Management of Specialty Textile Chemicals at Hoechst AG (later Clariant GmbH) in Germany before moving to Product, Sales, and Key Account Management at Sanitized AG in Switzerland. She then returned to Clariant, leading Marketing Apparel & Fashion for Latin America, based in Brazil. 
In 2008, Susanne joined Bekaert Textiles Mexico as Commercial Director and was later promoted to General Manager, overseeing business activities in Latin American countries. From 2019, she led BekaertDeslee North America’s Operations and the region’s Supply Chain & Procurement team.

Susanne holds a Diploma in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen, Germany, and an MBA from INSPER (IBMEC) Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she was awarded Best of Generation. She also completed a Lean Principles certificate from Purdue University in 2021.
