Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure. This position will focus on key technologies such as VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Veeam backup. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these technologies and be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage VMware vSphere environments, including virtual machines, clusters, and storage.

  • Administer Windows Server operating systems, including deployment, migration, patch management, security updates…

  • Manage Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, groups, and policies.

  • Support Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender.

  • Manage Veeam backup solutions to ensure data protection and disaster recovery.

  • Manage our Azure environment (Storage, Virtual Machines, Automation, Frontdoor…).

  • Collaborate with our trusted partners and other IT teams to ensure smooth operations and integration of systems.

  • Knowledge of scripting is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of Meraki wired and wireless networking is a plus.

  • Travel: approximately 5-10% of the year to our remote sites worldwide.
