Product Development Manager
The Product Development Manager leads product development projects, collaborating across teams, identifying market needs, and ensuring products meet company standards. They work with BDHQ/APAC and external test labs to launch new products, lead product ideation, and ensure developments align with customer needs. Additionally, they maintain good relationships with customers, oversee product performance, and provide training to the team.

Main responsibilities and key result areas:
Strategic Planning:
Independently lead product development project, cooperating with Sales, CS, Design and Production teams and other internal related supporting teams.
Identify costomer needs, market trends and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with teams to ensure that the products conform to established standards, policies, and objectives.
Product Design and Development:
Work closely with BDHQ/APAC innovation, engineering, and product team to gather and understand new product info from group level facilitate the launch of group new product locally.
Work closely with external test labs and research institutions to set up product test system to facilitate product /functionality proofing and demonstration.
Lead the ideation process for new product and improvements to existing products.
Ensure the sample and development in accordance with customer needs.
Organize, coordinates, control, evaluate and improves:
Maintain good relations and be friendly with the company's costumers and in other relationships.
Product development performance data analysis.
DPM implementation.
Lead the local Design Team.
Perfil
- Bachelor's degree in business, textile or related field.
- Fluent in English both oral and written.
- Have costomer focused experience to deeply understand customer problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams, result oriented.
- User knowlage of the SAP system and Microsoft office.
- Design packages are a plus
- Strong problem solving and analytical skill
- Knowledge of market research and data analysis techniques.
